A more intimate experience, and one of the most exclusive activities in Nepal, is a helicopter flight to Everest Base Camp from Kathmandu. You will be accompanied on the flight by an Everest summiteer, who will share their intimate knowledge of the region with you.
You will fly up between the mountains, over Everest Base Camp with views of the Khumbu icefall, then cross the Cho La Pass which is situated at an altitude of 5,595 metres and pass over the famed and sacred Gokyo Lake before landing at Kongde, situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters. Here you will enjoy a breakfast against a backdrop of magnificent mountain views. You then return to Lukla to take on fuel before flying back to Kathmandu.
